NILFGAARD
In The Witcher TV series, Nilfgaard is a massive, expansionist empire from the southern part of the Continent. Under the rule of Emperor Emhyr var Emreis, known as the "White Flame," Nilfgaard serves as the primary antagonist to the Northern Kingdoms.

Emhyr var Emreis
was the Emperor of Nilfgaard who regained his throne from the Usurper. Known as the White Flame, he was considered by his people as a kind of messiah figure.
BLOOD ORIGIN
is a fantasy miniseries on Netflix that serves as a prequel to The Witcher television series. Released on December 25, 2022, it consists of four episodes and explores the history of the Continent 1,200 years before the time of Geralt of Rivia.
